The Chaozhou–Foshan sanitary ware belt produces the majority of the world's ceramic bathroom fixtures. For Indian buyers building hospitality, real estate, or premium home retail, this is the deepest supply base on the planet — but also one of the most fragmented.
Ceramics — the glaze test matters
Vitreous china quality lives in the glaze. Ask for light-box inspection reports and micro-crack testing. A cheap glaze looks fine day one and yellows within eighteen months.
Brassware — PVD vs electroplate
PVD-finished faucets outlast electroplated ones by 3–5x in Indian water conditions. The price difference is 15%. This is one of the easiest specification upgrades to make.
- Brushed Gold PVD — premium hospitality
- Matte Black PVD — mid-premium residential
- Chrome PVD — mass-market with longevity
